2015 Annual "Race to the Goal" Kick Off!

It’s time to kick off the annual Race to the Goal, our October fundraiser to raise funds for those in St. Joseph County in need of mammogram screenings or diagnostic mammograms. 

This is our 16th year! Over the years, we have raised over $117,540. As a College, our goal this year will be to exceed the $11,416 we raised last year. 

The cost of a screening mammogram is approximately $133.00 and the approximate cost for a diagnostic mammogram is $175.00; the average is $154.00 per test.

If we raise at least $11,416, we will make a difference in approximately 75 lives.

SAS Tailgate, Friday, October 11th from 12-5

Tailgate with SAS! As part of October's college-wide effort to raise money for United Health Services, the SAS committee is hosting a tailgate fundraiser this Friday, October 11th, from 12-5 pm in the walkway between O'Shaughnessy and Decio (rain location TBD). In addition to being a rocking good time, the tailgate will have various items to purchase to add to our fundraising efforts: Food, including hot dogs $5, popcorn $2, and ice cream floats $5. This year's  SAS Committee T-shirt Raffle items (including a VERY special surprise from ND athletics!) photo booth with photos taken by an official photographer from the AAHD department We look forward to seeing you this Friday!

Walk-A-Thon with the Arts and Letters Dean’s Office, Thursday, October 13th

Walk-A-Thon Fundraiser with Dean Mustillo! Please join the College of Arts & Letters Dean's Office for a Walk-A-Thon fundraiser on Thursday, October 13th at 3:00pm. Dean Sarah Mustillo   will lead us on a 30-minute outdoor walk around campus. Registration is $25 and includes a t-shirt to wear for the walk. Pre-Order Krispy Kreme Donuts for your unit!

Hello everyone,  As part of our "Donuts for Donations" fundraiser on October 14 ( more here ) we are offering campus units a chance to pre-order Krispy Kreme donuts by the dozen. All proceeds support United Health Services in providing breast cancer diagnosis and treatment services in our community. ORDER FORM A dozen classic is $12 A dozen pink iced & sprinkled is $20 (2 dozen limit per unit for pre-order) Due to limitations from the local Krispy Kreme store we will only have 20 dozen total of these available for pre-order and will be available first come first serve. We will do a JV after the event for FOAPAL payment. Deadline for pre-orders is Monday, October, 10th.
