The Pillar of Hope

Pillar of Hope

Big news just in! Julie Logue gave us her final tally on the bricks. The total amount raised was just over $3,000!!! A special thanks to Julie for her efforts and thanks to those who sold or made a purchase. We are now close to the $10,000 mark!

Take a Look At Our Pillar! As of Monday, October 27th we have raised enough money to make a difference in the lives of 39 women in the community!

We are getting there $6,153!!! Take a look at the attached photo, we now have enough funds to assist approximately 39 recipients. This includes money from the Pink Market, Psychology's Chili-Off, Jammin' for Jugs, card sales and shirt sales. This does not include the sales from the ND Bricks that sold like hot cakes!

Let's fill it up! To date, we have raised enough money to make a difference in lives of 18 women in the community! Keep up the great work everyone!

We've raised an additional $1,900.00! Thanks to everyone who donated and special kudos to the History department for their efforts on their wonderful Trivia Lunch. A great time was had by all! History raised approximately $800.00. We have also had departments outside of A & L order a quantity of the "Barb Roche" cards to help get us to the $1,900.00. We will be adding more cotton balls to the Pillar.  We now have enough to assist at least 18 people in our community with screenings and or diagnostic mammograms! Keep up the good work.

Our next event is the PINK MARKET which will be Wednesday, October 15th in the Great Hall of O'Shaughnessy, 10:30-2:00.  There will be baked goods, a used book sale, scarves and purses, authentic bricks from the stadium for sale, booties and hats, raffles, $1.00 hot dogs, popcorn and much more. Please invite your friends throughout campus to attend. If you are not participating in the event, just stop by to commune with your fellow A & L colleagues over the lunch hour.... oh and maybe buy a hot dog.
