Staff Outing to Schaumburg, IL Woodfield Mall and IKEA Friday, December 2nd

Shopping in Schaumburg, IL

Woodfield Mall and IKEA-Friday, December 2nd.

The reason is two-fold, one is to raise funds for the October fundraiser and two is to spend time with our fellow colleagues.

Schedule:
  • 9:00 am- we will leave from the Library Circle
  • 6:00 pm- return to the Library Circle
  • $50.00 per person (approximately $25.00 will go toward the fundraiser)
To secure your place on the bus, submit your payment to LinDa Grams no later than Monday, October 31. Seating is limited to 56, so do not delay in buying your ticket. If you are paying by check, please make your check payable to the University of Notre Dame. (If we find that it is necessary to secure another bus, arrangements will be made).

When we arrive in Schaumburg, you will have the option of being dropped off at either Woodfield Mall or IKEA. The bus will return to both locations at a predetermined time. You will have the opportunity to leave purchased items on the bus and continue shopping where you were originally dropped off or you may go to the other location to shop.

If you have never been to Woodfield Mall, it is huge! The mall offers a variety of restaurants, including The Cheesecake Factory, P.F. Chang's and the Rainforest Cafe.

Visit the Woodfield Mall web site to view the variety of shops available… http://m.simon.com/directory.aspx?id=1353
This will be a fun way to start, and for some to finish, your Christmas Shopping! Do not delay, join in the fun! Make sure you make your payment no later than October 31st so that it can go toward the RACE. There are no refunds on the tickets; if you are unable to go, after purchasing a ticket, you can try to sell it to someone else.

If you have any questions, please contact LinDa Grams lgrams@nd.edu .
